We aim, by 2040, to strategically establish state-of-the-art research facilities across Africa, foster collaborations with leading research institutions and national academies of science, and create endowed fellowships and professorships to nurture the next generation of innovators. Through our foundation, we will facilitate the rapid diffusion and assimilation of frontier technologies across the continent, enabling impactful and avantgarde doctoral and post-doctoral research that pushes the boundaries of knowledge. We are championing discovery and innovation for the People of Africa.

We are committed to establishing 15 laboratory institutes focused on pioneering R&D projects that promise to advance civilization and revolutionize livelihoods across Africa. Through locally developed technologies, solutions, and innovative ideas, we aim to transform Africa’s socio-economic landscape, driving progress in all sectors of the economy. Our work will foster positive shifts in socio-political and cultural values, while eradicating vulnerabilities and improving the quality of lives.

We promise to drive an extraordinary expansion in Africa’s R&D output, aiming to increase it more than fourfold by 2040, reaching 10% of the global total. By harnessing our unique continental strengths and untapped potential, we will carve out a distinctive niche in global research. We shall attract valuable collaborations and resources, empowering our researchers to lead transformative innovations that shine to the rest of the world.

We are committed to pursuing bold and dynamic scientific expeditions, explorations, and investigations, backed by substantial research funding for our researchers. Our goal is to secure £2 billion or more in annual research funds for each of our laboratory institutes by 2040, amounting to over £30 billion in total across all institutes. Additionally, we aim to achieve a minimum of 10% GERD in all our annual reports, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to advancing research and innovation.
